The second album from Sheffield based spoken word artist Genevieve Carver and her multi-instrumental live band The Unsung explores female experiences in the music industry.

Based on interviews with female-identifying music practitioners across the industry, it covers themes including confidence, mental health, the creative process , female working relationships and toxic masculinity. The tracks range from electronic, synthy soundscapes to stomping soul and pop, and draw on influences including Delia Derbyshire, Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell.
